Welcome to GlobalChat — a free platform where people around the world can chat and meet freely. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to the Community Guidelines below.

1. Your account is your responsibility

You choose your own username and password. Keep your password private and do not share it with anyone. GlobalChat will never ask for your password. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We do not collect phone numbers, email addresses, or other personal identifiers — your public identity here is only your username and display name, so choose them carefully.

2. Community Guidelines — what is not allowed

To keep GlobalChat safe and beneficial for everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Hate and harassment: no hate speech, threats, bullying, or harassment of any person or group.
• Religious hatred: no content that spreads hatred or contempt toward any religion or religious community. Respectful discussion is welcome; hatred is not.
• Sexual content: no sexual or pornographic content of any kind, and zero tolerance for anything involving minors.
• Illegal activity: no content that breaks the law — including fraud, scams, drugs, weapons, or instructions facilitating wrongdoing.
• Spam and scams: no spam, phishing, fake giveaways, or deceptive links.
• Impersonation: do not pretend to be another person, brand, or official body.

3. Enforcement: warning, then block

If you violate these Guidelines, the following happens:

• First violation: you receive an official warning on your account.
• Second violation: your account is blocked from the system. Blocked users cannot log in or use GlobalChat.

Anyone can report a user or a message using the Report button in the chat. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team before action is taken.

4. Our purpose

GlobalChat exists to benefit people — so they can talk, learn, and connect freely across the globe, and create groups around shared interests. It must never be used to harm others. Accounts used to cause harm will be removed.

5. Service availability

GlobalChat is provided free of charge, "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
